The FB-2 is a revolutionary product. There are other tapeless video recorders on the market which use hard disks or memory to record to, but the FB-2 is the only tapeless video recorder which uses standard, removeable memory cards (Compact Flash or PC type) and records high quality, full frame MPEG-2 video and CD quality stereo audio. All of this in a unit which weighs just 115g and is not much bigger than the flashcard it's recording onto!

The FB-2 is suitable for any extreme sport where vibration, shock or size and weight are an issue. We can supply the recorder on its own or as a complete system with camera, microphone, a unique battery just 5mm thick and various control options. The MPEG file it records can be played immediately on any Windows based laptop, imported into editing programs, or burnt to a CD or DVD for viewing on domestic players.

FB-2 Solid State Video Recorder

This was recorded onboard a Radical SR4 sportscar. At this quality setting, a 1GB card will store around 15 minutes of video and audio. We have had to compress his clip for viewing on this webpage but if you would like to see a small clip in it's raw state as it comes out of the FB-2 you can download the file by right clicking on the link below and choosing 'Save Target as...' then open the file from your PC using Windows Media Player.
