Description
There is no need to access the recorder for start and stop or power on/off functions. This remote control lets you turn on or off the power to the recorder remotely. A green light indicates power on and standby. A red light indicates recording in progress. Other conditions are also reported in the same way. Works with our DR2, DR3 recorders and most LANC controlled cameras/recorders.

Does this LANC remote work in VCR or camera mode?
The CES2 has 3 built-in modes which enable it to be used in VCR, Camera and smart select modes with just about any Sony camcorder or any device with a LANC socket.
