DR3 Heatsink & Mounting Bracket

Description

This mounting bracket is manufactured from anodised aluminium and fits all DR3 recorder models. Supplied with 2 fitting screws to attach to recorder.

We recommend it is used in situations where the DR3 will be mounted in areas where the ambient temperature is likely to be high or where vibration and shock are severe.

The bracket acts as an effective heatsink in its own right and also has a mini cooling fan powered from the standard DR3 camera power output. In very hot conditions, the recorder can shut down if it overheats but the heatsink/fan combination prevents this from happening.

It's supplied with 4 anti-vibration rubber isolation mounts, which dampens any harmful vibrations or shocks which may affect the recorder's internal parts.

We recommend this bracket is used in Motorsport applications, particularly enclosed sportscars, formula cars and any vehicle which generates excessive heat and vibration.
