Drivedata Launches New DR2 Video Recorder

Drivedata, the UK’s leading independent designer and manufacturer of professional video and data recording systems, which supplies a number of leading F1, WTCC and GT teams, has launched a new Digital Video Recorder - the Drivedata DR2.



The Drivedata DR2 Video Recorder system uses solid state recorder technology and has MPG / AVI recording capability at the maximum resolution of 720 x 576 at 25fps. The DR2 also includes the option to record in two formats – MPEG2 for DVD and MPEG4 for web applications and video streaming.

The DR2 Digital Video Recorder can record directly onto a compact flashcard, and at the highest quality setting can record over 2 hours of footage on an 8GB flashcard. It can be used in a variety of automotive, Motorsports, motorcycle, aqua and other extreme sports applications and can also be bundled with an extensive range of cameras, camera mounts, remote controls and other accessories.
